Tony Canci

With formal qualifications in business growth and strategic management, certification as a crane operator, scaffolder and dogman, and 20 years experience in the Industry, Tony has used his extensive knowledge to develop Freo Group into a major services supplier to Blue Chip resource and infrastructure developers/ operators.

Jean MacDonald

Jean has spent nearly a quarter of a century in the crane industry, including broad experience in branch operations, large scale project management and senior management. He joined Sterling Crane in 1998 as a Branch Manager. After serving in varied and progressive management roles, he advanced to Vice President - Oil Sands in 2009. Since January 2012, Jean has taken up his appointment of CEO of Freo Group Limited in Perth, Western Australia.

Mark Warner

Mark has worked with the company for the past 6 years; he has extensive experience in senior executive roles with international and Australian oil & gas organisations. Mark is responsible for assisting with formulating the Company’s strategic direction, commercial matters including Mergers and Acquisitions and business development activities including sales, marketing and tendering.

Nic's extensive product knowledge and superior leadership skills have been pivotal to the continuing success of Freo Group. He has been with the company for over 30 years, fifteen of which have been in a management role. Nic holds TAFE qualifications in Sales and Marketing and has completed the Curtin University Business Improvement Course.

Cliff Harvey

Cliff has over 15 years experience in the accounting profession and commerce and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Cliff is responsible for the day to day management of the Company’s accounting, finance, payroll, IT and legal functions.

Rosa Cummins

Rosa has over 20 years experience in the Finance sector in the UK and Australia. Rosa holds a Bachelor of Business, Majoring in Accounting from Curtin University and is a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants. With a wealth of experience Rosa became a member of the Australian Institute of Directors in March 2010 and as well as being a Director for Freo Group Limited, she also sits as a Director on the Board of a community bank in Perth WA.

Dean Short

Dean holds a Bachelor Degree (Hons) in Strategic Management and manages support services within the organisation. With over 20 years experience in crane and rigging projects involving major resources projects, he also specialises in the management and planning of heavy lift crane solutions.

Don Gordon

Don has extensive management and consulting experience across a broad range of sectors and has lived and worked in the USA, Canada, Chile and Australia. Don is responsible for the management of Shared Services area which consists of HSE, Quality, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Information Technology and Business Improvement. Don holds a Master of Engineering degree and has a passion for keeping people safe.

Ben has been an integral part of Freo Group Limited since he joined the team in 2006 as our Newman Branch Manager. With his broad knowledge of the Pilbara and superior leadership skills Ben is now the General Manager Cranes for Freo Group. Ben has extensive experience in managing long and short term projects, mine maintenance and shutdowns and heavy lift solutions.
